{"id":1435,"date":"1983-06-25T14:32:17","date_gmt":"1983-06-25T21:32:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/68.171.213.235\/forensic-dna-testing\/?p=1435"},"modified":"2021-04-16T11:53:20","modified_gmt":"2021-04-16T18:53:20","slug":"bloodstains-linked-to-missing-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/serological.com\/forensic-dna-testing\/bloodstains-linked-to-missing-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"The Daily Oklahoman: Brian Wraxall can&#8217;t compare evidence to victim without a reference sample."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Brian Wraxall, an expert on blood typing, said he could not be sure the stains came from the woman because he has no sample of her blood.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wraxall, a chemist with the California-based Serological Research Institute, testified he analyzed bloodstains taken from a car rented by Rawlings and an airplane he flew to Texas the day of his wife&#8217;s disappearance.<\/p>\n<p>Because a sample from Mrs. Rawlings was not available, Wraxall said he analyzed her parents&#8217; and her brother&#8217;s blood to determine the possible range of genetic markers she could have inherited.<\/p>\n<p>Taking all the possibilities into account, the bloodstains found in the car and the airplane &#8216;could have originated from Sally Rawlings,&#8217;
