“Brian Wraxall, a forensic scientist from California, testified Tuesday morning that none of the DNA tests of more than a dozen items from the crime scene matched Rivera’s blood or semen.

A DNA test of a blood stain on her T-shirt and samples taken from the girl’s vagina rule out Rivera as the source, Wraxall told jurors.”

“Wraxall testified under cross-examination that his tests could not exclude Rivera as the girl’s killer. The implication of Wraxall’s testimony was that Rivera could have killed Holly without leaving behind blood, semen or hair.”
